Happy 4th!

Today is my all-time favorite holiday - and day - of the year. I love that there are no expectations surrounding it except to take a break from work, hang out in the sun, and drink beer and eat burgers. Yum.

We have Casco's girlfriend, Lucy, staying with us for the weekend, but we've managed to get some fun in.

Tonight we will go here to see my fave team play. I love my Rox: I loved them before their World Series run, and I love them now, when they're back to their general mediocrity. Hell, I had a Colorado Rockies bumper sticker (I'm anti-bumper sticker, so this means something) covering a rust spot on the back of my 1982 Volvo Station wagon for years. That was a fun car, my friends and I called it the "Shaggin' Wagon". Don't worry Mom, we weren't cool enough in high school to put the name into action.
