Pinspiration...Depending on Who You Ask
I repined this picture via Sarah on Pinterest last night and showed it to Mr. B.
Me: This would be PERFECT for our office/playroom.B: Looks nice.
[30 minutes later.]
Me: Seriously, this wouldn't be that hard. Basic desks on the far wall with some storage, an art and puzzle table for Thomas in the middle, a cute little window seat under the window for toy storage and lots of floor space for playing.B: [Pointing at the black writer's desk and leaning bookshelves that we currently have in our office] What would we do with these? Me: Craigslist?B: I hate Pinterest. Worst invention ever.

LOL. I don't know that Justin loves Pinterest either--he's sort of like 'When are you going to stop making these crazy recipes that I never seem to like?!'
ReplyDeleteThis is so Tom! I have a habit of emailing him pins and he told me that he was happy until pinterest entered our lives, lol. The honey do list keeps getting longer. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that office. You should totally do it. :)
ReplyDeleteThus far Rob doesn't hate Pinterest so much, mostly because I only email him the funny pins and I'm usually the one DIYing things at our house. But he joked once as I was looking up things to do with soap scraps on Pinterest: "Dear Pinterest. I have slivers of soap, paperclips, and sawdust. Please save my dog!"
lol- this sounds like something my husband would say. Men...
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha - only laughing because I think my husband and I have had the same conversation. :)
ReplyDeleteSo love this...you should totally do it...it's very "Emily"
ReplyDeleteThe office inspiration is fantastic. Practical and happy at the same time!
ReplyDeleteAnd your husband's feelings towards Pinterest made me crack up. I almost did a spit take with my milk. :)
Sarah does have pretty good taste :-) I say go for it! You guys are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHa! I think Ryan and B would be on the same page. I have new ideas on a weekly basis.
ReplyDeleteI completely know what you mean. Guys don't really get the allure of Pinterest. Plus it does motivate all types of new ideas and gets us to jump on projects.
ReplyDeleteLet me knwo if you get serious about selling the desk and shelves! I might be interested in buying them :)
